Phase Two Programme details
Phase Two of the Tourism Advisory Support Service has been established by MBIE to provide additional support to operators, as part of the tourism recovery package, managed through Qualmark and Tourism New Zealand.
We recognise there are additional needs specific to our industry that require specialist, professional advice in the area of digital capability. We have nominated Maverick Digital, Tomahawk, Cornwall Strategic in partnership with Konnector, TimeZoneOne and Socialites to provide a series of workshops and one-on-one programmes. With a practical focus, this programme has content designed to help an operator understand more about their digital ecosystem with the aim of lifting the level of digital capability for the tourism industry.
The support businesses work alongside clients in the tourism sector in the key areas of strategic digital marketing, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), organic growth, website performance and online booking system audits, online advertising and paid media, social media content and creation, conversion optimisation, lead generation and measuring success.
The programme involves a series of workshops that focus on specific development areas to improve knowledge and practical capabilities, and implement using digital tools. There are additional one-on-one workshops in areas that you identify to best support your digital needs for the continuity of your business.
This is one support stream that is available as part of the Digital Capability package, in addition to Phase One of the Tourism Advisory Support Service, and will be provided to you free of charge.
