COVID-19 - information for Qualmark Partners

Qualmark membership extension – how we can support you

We know that New Zealand’s tourism industry needs to be ready to offer quality experiences like yours as New Zealand looks to welcome Kiwi and international visitors in the future.

As a valued Qualmark Licence holder, we wish to advise you that we will be extending the current six-month licence waiver for a further 12 months to support the retention of your Qualmark status.

The licence extension will run through until the end of September 2021. This may alter your annual billing cycle; however, we will get in touch to advise of any fee changes well in advance.

The Tourism Advisory Support Service recently announced in the government’s budget is another programme of support Qualmark is offering to industry.  We encourage you to consider applying through our website if you have not done so already. If you have any questions about this programme, please contact your Tourism Business Advisor or alternatively your Account Manager.

We’re working with the wider Tourism New Zealand team to ensure that Qualmark supports the sustainable development of your business as the market and industry restarts and look forward to sharing more information and initiatives as things develop.

We are also looking at what a return to business will look like for our annual visits and will update you through Qualnews and your Tourism Business Advisor in the coming months. We understand that for many of you, the focus will be re-establishing in a domestic market or working through hibernation or various business continuity options which we recognise will play a role in your readiness and timing.

Wishing you all the best.

Kind regards,

Gregg, Diane, Grant, Clementine, Emma and Isabel
